The new site is up and running and I’m trying to figure out what has happened with WordPress during my 10 year hiatus. It’s been a while since I used the interface and though I really appreciate the user-friendliness of it all it wouldn’t surprise me if the visuals of this site changes a lot over the coming months.
I intend to use this site as a journal of our own savings and investments. This would include financial placements, purchases, recipes, tips and tricks I’ll pick up along the way, and, as a newly become father, I will probably post a bit about the little rascal that is our son, Valentine.
Me and my wife have agreed to invest one of our paychecks each month into the stock market. As one of us will be on parental leave for the remainder of 2020 this sum has dramatically been lowered to about $1250 every month. The investments will be places in dividend stocks and although I don’t intend to trade with these investments, certain unforeseen scenarios might force me to do so.
